Hilo - On The Big Island

Traveled from LA 2089 Miles. 85 miles left to Hilo. Turned clocks back 3 times. Last night being the last so we are 3 hours behind California. Cell card has not kicked in as of yet. Should be another hour or 2, then they should come to life. Not going to be a lot of time. But we will do what we can after getting the car. Just hope THAT goes smooth.
5am
No cell coverage as of yet. Stars are out big time. 77 degrees out and should be in the mid to high 80's Feeling the engines shutter a bit so we are slowing it a bit. Have seen a few dim lights off the port side.
6:21am
The cell card is trying to kick in. Found out a problem may be with the video camera. : ( Jumping in and out of focus. THIS could suck.
7:00
Data card kicked in. Out and about now.
5:00pm
Back on board. Thrifty rental cars was awesome. Picked up at pier and give a ride back TOO pier.
The scenic drive was outstanding. You can see below in the slide. Along with Akaka Falls. A LOT of power.
