Pulling offshore about 6am and will anchor around 7am.
The one and only tender port. Weather has been great and in the 80's. Depending on which Island. Low or high 80's.
We thought Puka Dog also had a store on Maui. But just seen it was on Kauai. Errrrrrr, we drove right by it yesterday. Oh well, next time we'll get a car in Kauai.
Not sure when we will post anything back here. As I know when we get back from Lani, we will walk around Lihaina a bit. Once we pull away. That's it for cell coverage and we gota save mins. for fantasy football on the way back ya know. : )
The trip to lana'i was cool. Not a lot over there. A couple resorts but with our guide. A local. The history was outstanding. It is strange to think that the whole island was at one time nothing but pineapple. Now, nothing really. We did see Shipwreck beach and Garden of the Gods. That was awesome. The trade winds that always blow there has made an amazing landscape. Almost Mars like. We can say the we have been to Lana'i. Would we go back? I dout it. But it WAS awesome and we learned a lot.
Back in town we went to an art gallery that we were told about art by Leohone. Her work (ancestors) is amazing!!!!! The people AT the gallery however have a bit to be desired. One lady was very nice. The other little punk should be fired. But we have GOT to get one of her pieces.
