French Camp

We stayed at French Camp for 4 nights on the way to our daughters white coat ceremony which was at University of the Pacific in Stockton.
The sites are paved and a lot of grass. There is golfing,swimming,and a restaurant.
HOWEVER, as of June 2003 we spent numerous times emailing them and using their registration form online to no avail. We finally called them, told them when we were coming, and they said we do not need to register. When we arrived, they acted as if we should have registered and as if the park was full. Which is was not. They also said they have a 18 hole Putt Putt and it was just ALL torn up and over grown. So we asked if we could have a site bordering the golf course and they said "no, those are for 28 day stay overs only" Ok, we could see that if it was packed but there we plenty of spots.
All in all. It is a nice place but gets a bit windy.
Coach in the distance is a triple slide. SOME day!! :-)
